The Institute of International Legal Studies (IILS) held the Comparative Law Project (ACLP) Virtual Book Launch on June 30, 2021 (Wednesday) at 2:00 pm.
The IILS has invited our esteemed authors, Prof. Elizabeth Aguiling Pangalangan, Prof. Emerson Bañez, Prof. JJ Disini, Prof. Nicky Ty, Prof. Abdul Salam, Prof. Nguyen Thi Hong Nhung, Prof. Dennis Khong, and Prof. Remi Nguyen, to be our panelists for this virtual event. They have answered questions and shared their insights throughout the Zoom webinar.
The ACLP was initiated by the IILS with the objective of highlighting the similarities and differences in the laws and legal concepts among our Asian neighbors. The publication is divided into different areas of law that are unique to the legal framework in each country—marital property law, copyright law, law in the digital age, and corporation law.
Experts from Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia, and Myanmar have been invited to contributed articles that became the basis for their Filipino counterparts who wrote on the same branch of law.
Due to the pandemic, Asian Comparative Law Vol.1 will be published online.
