The Information and Publication Division (IPD) is essentially the voice of the UP Law Center and continues to inform the public of the programs and activities that the institution provides to the nation.

Who We Are

Since 1963, the UP Law Center (UPLC) Information and Publication Division has been working towards making the law more accessible to students, law practitioners, government agencies and their administrators, as well as discerning readers, to fulfill its public service mandate. The IPD works with other UPLC institutes in specialized focus areas to provide a holistic approach to legal education.

Our Information Mandate

To ensure consistent public knowledge and understanding as well as support for the programs, projects, and activities of the UP Law Center and to act as a databank of all the activities of the UPLC (Reorganization Plan, May 29, 1989).

Our Publication
Mandate

To process and publish books, manuscripts, monographs, research papers, articles, newsletters, law reviews, and other works or writings on law of the UP Law Center, with special emphasis on those related to its general objectives, and to distribute these publications to government agencies, judges, lawyers, government administrators, and other interested parties (R.A. 3870, Sec. 1).
