The University of the Philippines Law Center Institute of Government and Law Reform (IGLR) invites you to an academic symposium on the implications of political dynasties entitled, “Political Dynasties: Biyaya o Parusa?” on May 24, 2024 (Friday) from 8:30 AM – 12:00 NN at the Malcolm Theater, UP College of Law, Quezon City.
The symposium aims to hold an academic discussion on the 1987 Constitution’s anti-political dynasty provision, a pending petition in the Supreme Court, and the legal, socioeconomic, and governance implications of political dynasties in the Philippines.
